Good morning! I’m really excited to share some more photos from Jess and Jon’s wedding day. Jess and Jon were married at the Seaport Hotel at the end of April. I just love it when my couples seem to enjoy every minute of their wedding day and I know that Jess and Jon did. Every time I turned around, they were laughing together, like “we’re married!!!” which is my favorite : )

I started the day with Jess and the girls at the hotel… here we go:

Stowe, Vermont is very special to Jess & Jon. Jon actually proposed while they were snowboarding there. Their creative cake, by The Icing on the Cake, was inspired by their proposal story. It also happened to taste amazing!

Jon surprised everyone by performing with his band, Lights Over Phoenix.

Favorite new ring shot? YES.

Erika & Dan | Newport Rhode Island Engagement

I had a really fun engagement session with Erika and Dan the weekend before last. We headed down to Newport and to the Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge in Middletown, RI for the photos. Erika and Dan had dinner on Bowen’s Wharf the night they got engaged and I love that that the Newport area is so special to them. It was clear from the moment that they stepped in front of my camera how comfortable they are together and that makes me happy : )

Erika and Dan, I had such a hard time narrowing these down for the blog… can’t wait for your wedding!

Can I pleeease wake up tomorrow and have Erika’s hair? Thank you.

We hit the beach right as the sun set. That sand was COLD.

Totally worth driving home with sandy feet : )

Becky & Shawn | Brewster Gardens Engagement

Recently, I was honored to do engagement photos of my friends, Shawn and Becky. The weather was sort of ominous on the day we chose. A bit into shooting, the temperature dropped suddenly and the wind whipped up. We were semi-sheltered in the back of Brewster Gardens but before long it started misting. We warmed up in Dunkin Donuts and chatted about their upcoming wedding. Becky and Shawn, hopefully we got the bad weather out of the way and (knock on wood), your wedding day will be 100% gorgeous!

Shawn and Becky will be married in September at the Barney Carriage House in Springfield, MA. This happens to be where I got married! I’m very excited to return as a photographer : )

Tamara & Jonas | Lake View Pavilion Wedding

All this warm weather has made me feel like it’s been spring forever… it’s a little wierd that wedding season is just about to get rolling! Tamara and Jonas were my first couple to tie the knot in 2012! They had a beautiful March day for their ceremony and reception at Lake View Pavilion.

I started the day with Tamara and the girls at the Renaissance Patriot Place.

One of my goals for the year (thanks to my workshop w/ Justin & Mary) is to take an iconic bridal portrait of each one of my brides. Most of my getting ready coverage focuses on details and candid moments but it’s so worth it to take 5-10 minutes to breathe and just enjoy being READY. Tamara, you looked amazing and I love these bridal portraits.

Laura & Brett | Enfield CT Engagement

Back in March, I went to Connecticut to visit my family. My sister, Laura, had gotten me a ticket to see Les Mis for Christmas and it was finally time for the show. While there, I also did a little engagement session with Laura and my future bro-in-law, Brett. Laura and Brett are getting married in October and I am SO EXCITED for them to tie the knot. And I get to be the matron of honor. Yay!

Happy Friday everyone! I’m so excited for this weekend. Marc and I were looking at our calendar and realized that this was our last un-booked, un-planned weekend until mid-September. Eek. So we decided to take a last minute mini-getaway to Vermont! I’m picking him up from work at lunchtime and then we’re heading out. We plan to do a whole lot of nothing and it’s going to be awesome : )

Before I go, I want to share some favorites from Elane and Todd’s Plymouth engagement session. We met in the early morning and hit a few spots along the waterfront. These two are planning a spring wedding and an amazing sounding honeymoon in the Mediterranean. Elane and Todd, it was wonderful meeting you both. I hope you enjoy the preview!

I recently paid a visit to Becky, Randy and baby Dominic. Dominic is the nephew of soon-to-be-weds, Courtney and Tyler. I loved getting to know more of their family. Dominic was such a sweetie throughout our whole session. As you will see, he was happy everywhere we went. Here are a few favorites!

Dominic did about 10 seconds of tummy time for us… love it.

And after all that hard work, it was nap time!
